Psychology Diversity Committee's archive of distributed communication to campus.Archive 2021 - Present
The Psychology Diversity Committee wants to affirm clearly that the Psychology department community stands in support for ALL members in our community and against messages of exclusion of any group. We are reaching out at this time when another event of hate messaging has occurred on our campus to acknowledge that hurt and harm come from such messaging.
Our hope and intent is to create a sense of inclusiveness for all students, staff, and faculty. In hopes of helping alleviate harm and reduce distress, consider reaching out to:
• report concerns and seek support from the Office of Institutional Equity
• obtain counseling support from the UCCS Wellness Center
• use free online tools to learn how to handle stress and build resilience -https://grit.uccs.edu/silvercloud
