Biographical Information

Christine Mason, B.A., is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Masters program at UCCS. She completed her undergraduate degree at James Madison University in Virginia with a psychology major and a history minor. During her time at James Madison, Christine worked as a teaching assistant for developmental and abnormal psychology and was involved in Psi Chi, the national honors society in psychology. She was also a research assistant under Dr. Kenneth Critchfield, Ph.D., where she helped to research and develop Interpersonal Reconstructive Therapy (IRT), an experimental psychotherapy treatment for adults with severe and chronic psychiatric problems often involving comorbid diagnoses and chronic suicidality. Christine hopes to further develop her research experience at UCCS under the guidance of her mentor Dr. Frederick Coolidge, Ph.D.
